@nortonsmind
I am an entrepreneurial US Navy veteran, an author, a physicist, and an award-winning marketing strategist — but at the end of the day, I am just a dad doing what he’s got to do.
I write about the things most men are told to keep quiet about — love, fatherhood, marriage, masculinity, trauma, duty, legacy, and faith. Some of that writing is quick and barely edited, and the rest of it is careful and slow. Where you find me actually depends on which of the two you came for.
So, below you will find the companies I own, the essays I would hand you first, and every place I publish along with what to expect from each of them.
The Companies I Own

The Books I Have Written
Both are available on Amazon.
A modern coming-of-age survival story about the burden of building a legacy worth inheriting. A father and son go into the Alaskan wilderness, and what follows is a story about fear, courage, discipline, family legacy, and the responsibility of becoming worthy of what you inherit.
This memoir is based on a true story, and I wrote it as a form of self-reflective therapy. It covers my early life from birth to my early twenties. By reading about how I face and take accountability for my own Jungian shadow, you may learn something about facing yours.
Free To Read
These are all free, and none of them are behind a paywall. If you are new to my writing, any one of them is a fair place to begin.
The Importance of a Muse for Growing Boys
Why a boy needs a muse rather than a porn star, and how her restraint is what drives men to build.
How I Have Mastered My Masculine, Sexual Energy
How I pair a constant sexual drive with discipline, and channel that energy into work worth doing.
A Stream-Of-Consciousness On How Women Claim Men, Collectively
A free-form observation on how women collectively claim a man, and the double standard beneath it.
Coming To Terms With The Socioeconomic Vortex Of Sexual Selection In A Free Society
The dark side of choosing partners purely by content of character, and where sexual selection leads.
Why I Love European Women
Why the question of which woman to choose is really a question about the kind of man you intend to be.
What It Means To Choose A Wife
Marrying a woman means marrying her family and her people, for she is the soil your children grow from.
This Is When A Man Is Ready To Be A Father
A true Navy story about a reverend named Doom, and the standard of character fatherhood actually asks.
How I Proposed To My Wife
The story of meeting my wife in China as the one man who refused to fawn over her, and what I asked.
What is Love?
What Studio Ghibli taught my six-year-old daughter about men who have a purpose beyond wanting her.
Why Women Crave Strong Men
Why entropy, suffering and scarcity explain a woman's pull toward strength far better than romance.
What Does It Really Mean To Respect A Woman?
Respect is earned acknowledgement, so respecting a woman means seeing her honestly, flaws included.
Choose To Die For Her
Why a man should fight for his woman even at hopeless odds, and what it gives her if she survives.

Where To Find Me
Each channel has a purpose, but all of them are ruled by the same code of conduct.
The Rules Of My Pages
Condensed from my code of conduct. It applies to every channel above, and my admins enforce it the same way I do.
Visit The Website
The rest of what I do lives on my own site.
This page is only the front door. The website itself is where the longer work lives — my full background and military service, the speaking and mentoring I do, and the essays I publish on ground I actually own rather than merely rent from a platform.
