|SERVING LEGITIMATE SOCIETAL GOODS
Watch this video about Project Folkvangr, the plan to build women’s shelters throughout America and Europe—starting with Alaska.
“Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I have found. It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love.”
— Gandalf, The Hobbit Share
Norton’s Mind is more than simply a blog. It is a conduit for driving genuine civilizational advancement, if even through small projects—one baby step at a time.
Each essay, story, and reflection is written not for idle consumption, but as an offering of service: to protect what is sacred, to provide for those in need, and to advance a legacy worthy of our descendants.
This is a space where philosophy meets action, and where words are forged into deeds that safeguard women, guide men, and fortify the fabric of our civilization itself.
The current project this blog is working on is the building of a woman’s safehouse in Alaska.
|LEADING BY TRANSPARENT EXAMPLE
“Let a man show himself brave and bold, who wishes to get a good name; for it is better to die with honor than to live with shame.”
— Völsunga saga Share
This page serves as a public source of accountability, in accordance with my branding ethos.
Return here on the 1st of every month, starting from October 1st, 2025 to check for any updates pertaining to progress made toward the building of the women’s safehouse in Alaska.
|OPEN LETTER ABOUT THE PROJECT
Thank you for reading.
This blog exists to build a community of people who love genuine and benevolently masculine men, want to see the best in them, and appreciate a philosophical and literary mirror that helps them self-reflect as necessary to help them achieve healthy relationships of their own with them.
I believe the three pillars of masculinity are protecting, providing for, and advancing one’s civilization— and women are key to masculinity’s fullest actualization.
My memoir, from which this blog is derived, details how I suffered greatly after my father’s murder when I was only four years old.
My mother was eventually forced to lower herself and her dignity for survival.
Twenty to forty percent of all paid subscriber proceeds and book sales (such as Fighting for Redemption or Yield) go to a fund I am developing to help women like my mother once was—to prevent and rescue other women from suffering similar fates.
This means that if you pay a $5 monthly Substack subscription to this blog, then $1-$2 will go towards genuinely providing for these women—and I will be posting publicly on NortonsMind.com, where you can see exactly where every dollar goes.
It may not seem like much, but if this blog manages to acquire merely 4,000 to 5,000 subscribers like you, that’s funding of up to $4,000 to $10,000 per month that can and will go to:
— Buying safe property women escaping harrowing situations can run to.
— Directly supporting struggling women who need food and general provisions.
— Paying the medical bills of women who were physically hurt for various reasons.
— Temporarily paying the rents and mortgages of struggling women who need time to recover their ability to work.
I am not a perfect example of what a man should be like, but I would like to think that I have developed into a damned good one over the years despite my flaws—at least in comparison to so many others in the world.
And this would be an opportunity to build an entire legacy demonstrating that, truly uplifting, serving, and protecting my civilization as I lead by example as the writing from this blog can be exemplary for showing women the mind of the kind of man who actually and genuinely would protect and provide for them without strings attached.
Through this blog, women can better tell what to look for and what not to in the dating market, while having a better idea of what to disqualify a man for and what not to—that they may have had different ideas about before.
And, simultaneously, men of the next generation can learn from my example.
Click here to become a paid subscriber now to support the struggling women who need it most, while strengthening a blog that both sexes can learn from:

- INSUFFICIENT FUNDING
- Why?
- Too few paying Substack subscribers
- Too few book sales
- While Wolven Industries is activated as a company once more as signified by our pre-marketing efforts to build our e-mail list of new customers, we have not launched our new website and product line yet — That is currently set for January 1st, 2026.

|NOTES/COMMENTARY
October 1, 2025
I am flawed but sincere, genuinely working as hard as I can with little to work with.
We're seeing results in my Substack blog and book sales, but I need to keep going.
It appears I have set a good trajectory, but need to ensure that I don't lose momentum with the income that I am generating with the various fundraising assets I am setting up.
Overall, the workload has me working around the clock while needing to temporarily sacrifice minor things like daily livestreams in order to make deadlines the larger aspects of the plan.
But things are genuinely moving. Real progress is being made.
August 17th, 2025
"What began as a vague idea loosely thrown around for open discussion on social media has finally grown a page of accountability to officialize the movement as real while empowering the public to hold me, as the leader, accountable for progress, transparency, and the ethical keeping of my word.
While the blog has only made about $600 in a little over 30 days, the current trajectory signals that we are off to a promising start as the majority of Substack blogs fail to ever make a single dime—let alone nearly $1,000 in a little over 30 days.
To most writers, that's a huge accomplishment worth cracking open a bottle of champagne over because the average writer never makes a single dime with their writing. However, to someone like me—it's far from enough.
We need an estimated 2,000 paying subscribers to really get started. My goal is to accomplish those paying subscribers within the time frame of two years, specifically by the date of July 31st, 2027.
To get there, I will be holding regular meetings with my top subscribers to figure out what content a target audience like them really wants to read that I can authentically produce while drastically increasing how many books and articles I write per year as I execute a widespanning marketing strategy."— Mike Norton Share
