Mike spent a total of four years in the Chinese wilderness of the Shaanxi mountain range, accomplished several weeks at a time.

He has also experienced various adventures (large and small) in Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Spain, Greece, Ireland, and Alaska, USA.

In that respect, you are here because you are planning a trip (for whatever reason, most likely an adventure vacation)...

...and there are few people in the world that you would trust more to lead, assist, or protect you on such an expedition.

Look no further: Fill out the application form on this page to have Mike himself consider accompanying you on your trip, or at least a member of the Norton family.

    ***Sparring in martial arts will only occur between experienced, fit, same-sex athletes. Should your application for an adventure be accepted, you will be contacted directly to confirm details of what kind of sparring you're looking to experience (e.g. full contact, or perhaps only grappling, etc.)

    ***Clicking "Ancient Norse Skills" will indicate to us that you would like to have an arctic survival experience involving matters like how to make fire with blocks of ice, how to survive in specific types of natural shelters in the snow, horseback archery, etc. and that you don't mind extensive discussions involving ancient Norse mythology or singing Old Norse songs like "Drømde mik en drøm i nat" while we hike .

    ***There is no minimum or maximum. We are willing to work with most budgets, negotiating a customized trip based on what your limitations are or are not.

    Should your application be accepted, throughout the trip, you are responsible for coming with and managing your own health and life insurance. Before the trip begins, you will be asked to verify coverage.

    * Filling out this application does not guarantee that it will be accepted. Should Mike (or any member of the Norton family) be interested in accepting your application, we will reach out to you via e-mail to schedule a discovery call with you to iron out the details of your trip.

    * Mike is currently studying for a Fjellman certification to enhance his skills, professionalism, accountability, and your safety throughout the experience. Depending on what you want to do, even if your application is accepted, you may have to get on a waiting list until Mike completes it.
